On Wednesday 31 st January 2018, Classes 2 & 3 went to MK College to participate in an Ability Basketball’ MK Sports Partnership festival.
Ability Basketball’ is a festival that comprises of a variety of different basketball exercises for the children to take part in. There were opportunities for the children to shoot at the basketball hoop, as well learning to pass and move into spaces. After the children finished participating in all the different types of exercises, they then got to demonstrate what they had learnt from the day by playing a match against Bushfield School. This was great as, not only did they demonstrate the skills that they had learnt, but they also got to interact with the children and build friendships. All children that attended the festival demonstrated great efforts and enthusiasm throughout the morning. I think the star of the festival had to go to Ethan for scoring 6 hoops in a row – good work Ethan!
