What is the Governing Body?

 

The management of the school is the responsibility of the Governing Body. This is a group of people who have volunteered to help in the running of the school. The Governors have to make decisions about staffing, buildings, how the budget is spent and the teaching of the curriculum including Religious Education.

 

The Headteacher is a member of the Governing Body. He/she is responsible for the day to day decisions about the running of the school and plans for its future in co-operation with the Governing Body.
